12th July 2025 – In a heartwarming act of compassion and community spirit, we successfully organized the “Purr-fect Care Si Comot” program at Tiram Shelter, Johor. This impactful event brought together dedicated volunteers from Produk Optima, enthusiastic students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and influential animal lovers from the local influencer community to provide much-needed support to our feline friends.
As part of the initiative, a generous donation of 25 bags of Si Comot 10kg and 15 bags of Powercat Fresh Chicken 7kg cat food was handed over to the shelter. This contribution aims to ease the burden of daily feeding costs and improve the well-being of over 150 rescued cats currently residing at Tiram Shelter.
The collaboration between corporate partners, educational institutions, and public figures underscores the power of unity in promoting animal welfare. Volunteers from Produk Optima offered their time and energy, assisting with cleaning, feeding, and engaging with the shelter cats.
Meanwhile, students from UTM brought fresh energy and enthusiasm, helping raise awareness on responsible pet ownership and shelter adoption through social media campaigns and hands-on activities during the event.
Also present were several influencers, whose platforms played a vital role in amplifying the message of the campaign. Their presence not only attracted attention to the shelter but also encouraged their followers to consider adopting pets and supporting local shelters.
The “Purrfect Care Si Comot” program is part of Powercat’s ongoing commitment to support shelters and promote healthier, happier lives for cats across Malaysia. By working hand-in-hand with communities, Powercat continues to be a leader in both quality nutrition and compassionate outreach.
