Powercat, together with volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), recently organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event at Bustana Kucing, a large cat sanctuary that is home to around 3,000 cats.
The goal of the event was to support the shelter by helping with cleaning, feeding, and caring for the cats.
Volunteers from the company and UniMAP students spent the day working together with the staff at Bustana Kucing. Activities included:
- Feeding the cats
- Cleaning enclosures
- Donating cat food, litter, and other supplies
- Grooming and basic care
- Repairing and improving shelter areas
The event gave participants a chance to give back to the community and raise awareness about animal welfare. It also encouraged teamwork and compassion among the volunteers. Bustana Kucing continues to welcome donations and volunteers to help care for the many cats in their shelter.
